Fine parkland course, designed by the famous Willie Park in 1913, offers many challenging holes which will test the ability of any golfer. The par 70, 18 hole course offers a wide array of hazards to negotiate over its 6,343 yards. Its easy walking makes it perfect for golfers of all ages and abilities.

Centurion Park Golf Club, Wallsend

Centurion Park is a well established 18 hole parkland course and 28 bay driving range in a prime position just off the Coast Road in Newcastle. When you step onto the well established parkland course, it is hard to believe that it is only four miles from the centre of Newcastle upon Tyne.

The golf course extends approximatley 107.50 acres (43.50 hectares) including the site of the clubhouse, Happy Gilmores bar, golf shop and driving range. The golf landscape is attractive and fairly level with tree plantations between the fairways and around the clubhouse.

At 6031 yards off the meal tees, the course provides a fair test of golf for players of all abilities, comprising 18 holes par 70 from the white tees and 69 from the yellow.

The 1st, 10th, 9th and 18th holes lie close to the clubhouse facilitating a 9-hole round. The first 9 holes are located to the eat and south of the clubhouse with the remaining holes located to the north.

Whitley Bay Golf Club

The golf club is situated at the North East Corner of the ever popular seaside resort and town of Whitley Bay. The course is surrounded to the North and West by rolling fields with views to the east of the coast and Whitley Bay Lighthouse and visitor centre.

The course is widely regarded as one of the finest and often challenging courses of the North East Area due to its undulating fairways with a dene running through that requires a good drive and carry to successfully negotiate it on several of the holes.

Lost World Adventure Golf

In a land that time forgot, enjoy a 9 or 18 hole round of adventure golf on this fantastic, landscaped course of semi-tropical plants and water features, inhabited by fierce life-size dinosaurs. You may even win a prize!

Both educational and fun, kids will marvel at the size of these creatures while testing their skills around one of the most cleverly designed adventure golf courses they are ever likely to find.

Whitley Bay Mini Golf

This pitch and putt course on the Links is a short distance away from St Mary's Island and overlooks the North Sea. It features a foot golf course.
