This year's carnival theme is 'Folk'. Join in the fun including a huge community parade and seafront entertainment.
Giant characters imagined from folk stories new and ancient will join colourful promenaders, families, artists and musicians in the 13th annual carnival parade through Whitley Bay.
The parade starts at Whitley Bay Metro Station at 11am via Station Road, Whitley Road, Park View and Marine Ave to the Links and arrives at Spanish City Plaza approx. 12.30pm.
