Tourism is a vital contributor to economies worldwide.

In North Tyneside, it is estimated that we attract 6 million visitors and that the industry is worth £322 million, supporting over 3,900 jobs (STEAM 2018).

Nationally, tourism is estimated to be worth £126.9billion to the UK economy with around one in ten jobs supported directly or indirectly by the industry (Visit Britain).
